Q: What are your shipping policies ?
A: We can organise shipping to anywhere in South Africa if the buyer prefers this option. Depending on the sale, shipping is usually for the buyers account. However, with regards to International shipping .ie, outside South African borders, it has been our experience that its preferential for the buyer to organise shipping.

Q: What is your return policy ?
A: We follow standard CPA policy governing retail protocol, where applicable. This states that all new goods have a 7 [seven] day period within which to return an item if a customer is not satisfied with said item, provided the item is returned in the original condition and includes all original packaging. In cases where the item is not returned in the original condition and packaging, a return handling charge will be levied. If the buyer returns the item outside of the 7 [seven] day window period, a credit can be issued against the returned item on a case-to-case basis, either in the form of a credit note or as a trade-in against other stock.

Q : What kind of guarantee do i have on goods purchased from your store ?
A: All new items are covered with a standard 12 [twelve] month guarantee. This guarantee applies to our ‘Demo’ equipment too. This can be subject to manufacturers terms and conditions for eg where abuse of the item has occured, item was used outside of the designated purposes, etc etc. Kindly refer to the manufacturers t & c’s with regards to this. Music Connection prides itself on customer service, so we need to state these legal terms as due process, but will always endeavour to ensure that we handle all returns in a professional and sensitive manner. Please note: There is no guarantee on pre-owned equipment – kindly ensure the item is tested before you leave the premises with your purchase in order to ensure you are satisfied with regards to the state of the item. All our prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.

Q: Does Music Connection provide any kind of music lessons for interested parties ?
A: Yes. The building next door on our premises is run by our sister company ‘Performance Academy’, www.performanceacademy.co.za in order to serve our local community, and we provide music education for just about all ages. We offer guitar, bass, keyboard, vocal and other instruments too, onsite, in a secure enviroment with dedicated parking available. Please enquire on the website or contact us for further details.

Q: We are looking for rehearsal rooms, can you recommend anywhere for us to go ?
A: Yes, in fact this is offered on our Performance Academy premises too. Please enquire on the website or contact us for further details.

Q: We wish to hire music instruments as props for a shoot, can you help ?
A: Yes, we offer instruments for hire as props for most photographic/movie shoots etc., and have been serving this industry for around 15 years now. Please contact us for further details.
